When people call for a quote, one of the first questions is whether they need a deep clean or a regular clean. The honest answer depends on what your home looks like today, not what you'd like it to look like after.
A regular clean maintains. It covers the surfaces you use every day: kitchen counters, the stovetop, bathroom fixtures, floors, and dusting the obvious places. It works best when the home is already in decent shape and someone comes back every week or two to keep it there.
A deep clean restores. It reaches baseboards, door frames, light switches, cabinet fronts, grout lines, blinds, and the buildup around faucets and shower doors. If it's been more than a couple of months since the house had a thorough clean, a regular visit simply can't catch up in the time it has.
That's why most new clients start with a deep clean and then move to a regular schedule. The deep clean resets everything, and the regular visits keep it from sliding back. It also makes regular visits more affordable, because we're maintaining a clean home instead of fighting built-up grime every time.
A good rule of thumb: book a deep clean when you're starting fresh, before hosting family, after a renovation, or once or twice a year as a seasonal reset. Book regular cleaning when you want the house to stay that way without giving up your weekends.
